STEPHEN J. CULINA, 80, formerly of Pringle and Luzerne, died Monday, Oct. 2, 2006, in New Seasons at Tiffany Court, Kingston. He was born in Pringle on Sep. 10, 1926, a son of the late Theodore and Mary (Blanard) Culina. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was employed by the Acme Bakery. He was a member of Holy Family Parish, Luzerne. He was preceded in death by sisters Helen Shulenski, Henrietta Phillips, MaryAnn Barney; brothers Michael Arbutus, Frank and Theodore Culina. Surviving are a sister-in-law, Margaret Arbutus, Edwardsville; niece Catherine Bly, Kingston; several other nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday at 11 a.m. in the Holy Family Parish, Bennett Street, Luzerne. Interment will follow in St. Vincent’s Cemetery, Larksville. Viewing will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the George A. Strish Funeral Home, 269 Bennett St., Luzerne.
