Josephine Crilley

Josephine Crilley of Fairview Park, Mountain Top, passed away Thursday morning at the Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre Hospital.

Born in Hazleton, she was a daughter of the late Steven and Mary (Fedorko) Dulcey. Prior to her retirement, she worked at Postal Telegraph, McAlister Real Estate, Hazleton Macaroni and the United Penn Bank. A devout Roman Catholic, she was a member of St. Jude’s Church, Mountain Top. Josephine was an avid gardener, who also enjoyed sewing and needlepoint. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all of her family.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her sisters Mary Pavlick and Margaret Dintaman; and a brother, John Dulcey.

Surviving are her husband, Hayden; sons Fran, Mountain Top; Hayden Jr., Arlington, Mass.; Robert, Safety Harbor, Fla.; Jim, Mountain Top; Kevin, Sumneytown, Pa.; Jerome, Swoyersville; Brian, Mountain Top; a brother, Charles, Moscow, Pa.; sisters Sister Mary Alphius, Dallas; Joan Adomshick, Trafford, Pa.; Anna Dulcey, Hazleton; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held on Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the McCune Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Jude’s Church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Drums. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
