DRUMS – Because of damage sustained from heavy rains on Nov. 16, the access road to Lake Frances near the park office/Musto Environmental Education Center is closed to vehicles.
Park visitors can access the lake using a short trail from the large parking area that provides parking for both the office/EE Center and Lake Frances.
The park office and education center may still be accessed by the pedestrian bridge.
The access road will be closed for the foreseeable future as department engineers evaluate options for the roadway’s repair.
EXETER – A special meeting will be held at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday so the Act I Tax Study Committee can submit nonbinding recommendations to the Wyoming Area School Board.
A meeting for reorganization of the board and general purposes will immediately follow. The meetings will be held at the Secondary Center auditorium, 20 Memorial St.
WRIGHT TWP. – The Crestwood School Board will hold its reorganization meeting and December work session at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the high school library.
A special board meeting will be held on Dec. 13 at 6:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium for the feasibility study presentation.
PLAINS TWP. — The Parks and Recreation Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the J.L. Mosko/Hilldale Park Clubhouse on North Main Street in the Hilldale section.

WEST WYOMING – Residents are advised that the final collection of leaves will take place on Wednesday and Thursday.
Leaves should be bagged and placed curbside for collection.
WEST WYOMING – School district taxes are due at face value until Monday. After that, unpaid taxes must be paid at the penalty amount until Dec. 15.
The tax office will be open Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.
