Richard F. Mock of Root Hollow Lane, Noxen Township, died Saturday morning in his home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Root Hollow, he was the son of the late Alford and Helda (Wilson) Mock. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Mock was employed as a tank builder for Fisher Tank of Philadelphia. He was a member of the Boiler Maker NTL Local # 13 of Philadelphia.
Surviving are his wife, Sharon Mock; daughters, Terri Mock, Manheim; Gail Hutchins, Tunkhannock; Suzanna Wyffels, Hawaii; sons, Dale, Noxen; Keith, Root Hollow; four grandchildren; sister, Betty Lou Mann and brother, Duane, both of Huffs Church. Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening with his best friends, Dave Ashton and Ken Kingston.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family in the Nulton Funeral Home Inc., state Route 309 Beaumont.
Friends may call Monday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
