Lowell A. Roberts, 74, of Kunkle, Dallas Township, passed away, Saturday, August 25, 2007, at Manor Care, Kingston.
Born in Dallas, he was a son of the late Doyle and Florence Kocher Roberts. He was a graduate of Dallas Borough High School.
Before retiring, he was employed for 42 years at Native Textiles, Dallas, and also worked for McCarroll Concrete, Lehman.
He was a member of the Kunkle United Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Darwin, Robert and Glenn; sister, Hope Orchutt.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, the former Ernestine “Tina” Martin; daughters, Carrie Raymond and Brenda Corbett, both of Dallas; son, Lowell A. Jr., of The Woodlands, Texas.; brothers, Bruce, of Dallas and Harold, of Wisconsin; grandchildren, Justin, Jeremy and Carrie Corbett, Kristen, Amy and Eric Roberts.
Private funeral will be held from the Richard H. Disque Funeral Home Inc., 672 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with the Rev. Leanne H. Campbell, officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Friends may call today from 6 to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kunkle United Methodist Church, or the Kunkle Fire Co.
