TO DO • TO SEE • TO GO

Requiem of a warThe Everhart Museum will close the compelling exhibit “Requiem: By the Photographers Who Died in Vietnam and Indochina” on Monday, Dec. 31. Between the 1950s and 1975, 135 photographers from all sides of the conflict were recorded as missing or dead. Not only is “Requiem” a memorial to those men and women who took the photographs, but it also honors those who fought. . It is a compelling look at an important part of our history. The exhibit is accompanied by a book of the same name published by Random House. In addition to “Requiem,” the Everhart also hosted The Wall That Heals, a half-scale traveling version of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in November. For more info, contact the museum at 570.346.7186 or visit www.everhart-museum.org. The museum is located at 1901 Mulberry St. in Scranton.
