Hypnotist slated for Osterhout program


WILKES-BARRE: The Osterhout Free Library, 71 S. Franklin St., will present a program at 7 p.m. on Sept. 13 by certified hypnotist Chris Halbohm on hypnotism and its uses, especially weight loss.

Halbohm founded Kingston Hypnosis on Wyoming Avenue in Kingston, runs a leading-edge hypnosis institute in Asheville, N.C., and is expected to publish a new book on reducing stress and sleeping better.

As a certified member of the National Guild of Hypnotists and the Association of Hypnosis Professionals, the top two organizations for hypnosis in the country, he now certifies others to become hypnotists.

The program is free and open to the public.
