Rosemary B. Binker 75, of Pittston, died Saturday morning at her home.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Caroline Brown Binker.
She was a graduate of St. Nicholas High School, Wilkes-Barre, and was employed for Bell Telephone Company for 37 years in the accounting department. Rosemary was a devoted Catholic and was a member of St. Rocco’s Church, Pittston, and the Bell Telephone Pioneers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, on May 11, 2003; and a sister, Marie Binker, on Jan. 3, 1997.
Surviving are her brother, Robert Binker, Plains; sisters, Jean Schneider, New Cumberland, Louise Hartman, Elizabeth, N.J., Dorothy Breault, Chicopee Falls, Mass., Carolyn Binker, Wilkes-Barre; sister-in-law Mary Goyne, with whom she resided in Pittston; nephews, nieces, great-nephews and nieces.
Funeral will be held at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday from the Corcoran Funeral Home, 20 S. Main St., Plains. A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 9:30 a.m. in St. Rocco’s Church, Pittston. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Pittston. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday. Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the American Cancer Society, 71 N.
