Heather Susek, a Coughlin High School field hockey standout, recently signed a letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Syracuse University. She plans on majoring in nutrition. At Coughlin, she was a four-year starter and was a key contributor as the team won four straight District 2 Class 3A titles. She was selected to the all-state team her junior and senior seasons and was also selected to the Wyoming Valley Conference all-star team three consecutive years.
