Nanticoke, Crestwood reach final

NANTICOKE — Ryan Bevan went 2-for-3 with a double, triple and an RBI to lead Nanticoke to a 6-1 win over Wyoming Seminary in the first round of the Trojan Classic on Saturday.

The Trojans will take on Crestwood in the championship game at noon on Monday at Ted Hiller Park. The consolation game between Dallas and Seminary will follow at 4 p.m.

Joey Hart and Joey Zwiebel both added two singles for Nanticoke. Jay Wieller drove in the Blue Knights’ lone run.

Crestwood 15, Dallas 5 (6 inn.)

Matt Lamore hit two doubles to lead Crestwood in the first round of the Trojan Classic.

Kyle Belanchik earned the win, pitching one inning, striking out one batter and walking two.

Pat Murray and Konrad Kraszewski added singles for Dallas.
