‘Glass ceiling’ issues to be discussed

The Misericordia University Speak Out Loud committee will host a program at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, in the Banks Student Life Center’s Kennedy A Lounge that addresses gender and “glass ceiling” issues women face in leadership positions.

The program, “She’s the Man,” will feature state Sen. Lisa Baker, Pastor Jenell Wiggins, Good Shepard Lutheran Church, Wilkes-Barre; and Pat Finan, CEO, Children’s Service Center, Wilkes-Barre, as guest speakers.

Rainbow Babies doctor to lecture

The Misericordia University Psychology Department and Honors Program will present the lecture, “Psychosocial and Educational Impact of Childhood Cancer,” by Jennifer Anderson, Ph.D., from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 28, in the Banks Student Life Center Kennedy Lounge. The lecture is open free to the public.

Dr. Anderson is a pediatric psychologist at Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.
