Julia A. Brazitis, 84, Plymouth, passed away Thursday.
She was born August 4, 1923, in New York City, N.Y., and raised in Plymouth Township.
Julia was a graduate of Harter High School, class of 1941, and was a member of All Saints Parish, Plymouth. She was also a member of the Silver and Gold Club and the St. Mary’s Senior Citizens Friendship Club.
Prior to retirement, she was employed at Valley Crest Nursing Home as the dietary supervisor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony J., and sister Stella.
Surviving are her loving children, Nancy Valunas, Shavertown; Neil, Rosemont, Pa.; and Mark, Lititz, Pa.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. from the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 West Main Street, Plymouth, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in All Saints Parish, Plymouth. Private interment will be in St. Casmir’s Cemetery, Muhlenburg. Friends may call Sunday evening, from 6 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions, if desired, may be made to All Saints Parish, Plymouth.
