Earmarks, pet projects will jeopardize Social Security

As a young person I am very concerned about Social Security benefits when I reach retirement age.

Congress has done nothing to ensure that I will receive the benefits I am making payments for. Members of Congress like U.S. Rep. Paul Kanjorski, D-Nanticoke, have consistently voted to raid Social Security to pay for pet projects and earmarks to the tune of over $4 trillion. This has to stop.

I have heard that the definition of insane is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

Sending Paul Kanjorski back to Washington will only result in Congress raiding Social Security time and again, raising the retirement age, or increasing Social Security taxes. We need change in Washington.

Lou Barletta offers that to the people of Pennsylvania. It is time that we send a real leader to Washington to protect Social Security for all generations to come.
