Mary E. Lohman, West Green Street, Nanticoke, passed away Tuesday morning in the Hospice Community Care Inpatient Unit, Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Nanticoke, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Edith Cain Williams.
Mary was a graduate of Nanticoke High School and the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital School of Nursing. For many years, she was employed by Wilkes-Barre General Hospital and then did private duty nursing.
She was a member of the Primitive Methodist Church, Nanticoke, and a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #174, Nanticoke.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Earl “Duke” Lohman on March 1, 2007.
Surviving are daughters, Susan Lohman, Weston, Fla.; Diane Edwards, Bethlehem, Pa.; son, Earl W. Lohman Jr., Nanticoke; grandchildren, Alexandra and Brian Edwards, Earl William and Joshua Lohman.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. from the Earl W. Lohman Funeral Home, 14 W. Green St., Nanticoke, with the Rev. Barry Lohman and Anita McGowan, staff chaplain of Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre, officiating. Interment will be in Edge Hill Cemetery, West Nanticoke.
Friends may call Thursday evening, 5 to 8 p.m.
