Mary A. Miller, 93, one of 13 children born to Martha Mae and Gordon Wesley Hayes, peacefully passed away Monday, September 22, 2008.
Surviving is her brother, Leroy Hayes, and wife Janet, of White Haven; and her sister, Gertrude Williams (her deceased husband was Fred), of Galloway, N.J.
She was preceded in death by husband Milton E. Miller Sr. and together they had six children: three sons and three daughters.
Her sons are Milton Jr. and wife Jean; Russell and wife Charlene, both of White Haven; and Gary and wife Kathy, of Holly Springs, N.C. Her three daughters are Joyce and husband Carl Meier; Nancy and husband John Reilly, both of Tunkhannock; and Patti and husband Jeffrey Holmberg, of White Haven. She was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A lifetime resident of White Haven, Mary dedicated her life to the care and nurturing of her family. She will be lovingly missed by all, and her legacy will endure through her children and grandchildren.
Final respects may be paid at the Lehman Funeral Home in White Haven on Wednesday, September 24, from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 25, at 11 a.m. at the White Haven United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to the White Haven United Methodist Church, of which she was a member, at 900 Buffalo St., White Haven, PA 18661.
Interment will follow in Laurel Cemetery, White Haven.
