Berwick rallies from 2-0 hole

CLARKS SUMMIT — Katlin Michaels slammed 17 kills and added 12 digs and 11 service points to rally Berwick to a hard-fought 3-2 win at Abington Heights on Wednesday.

The host Comets narrowly won the first two games before the Bulldogs fought back to win 22-25, 24-26, 25-17, 25-15, 15-13.

Kristin Kemmerer (32 assists), Sarah Dalo (11 points, 12 kills) and Haley McClaflin (12 points, 7 kills) all had big games in the win.

Abington Heights was led by Lizz Emmett (12 kills, 2 aces, 3 digs), Shelby Morgan (9 kills, block), Meghan Fraley (20 assists, 6 points, 2 kills) and Ashley Reese (11 points, 4 aces, 4 digs).

Delaware Valley 3, Meyers 0

Michelle Carrigan (30 points, 11 aces, 10 assists), Krystine Boedecker (10 points, 5 aces) and Nicole Illanosky (4 kills) helped the Warriors pull off a 25-1, 25-16, 25-11 road sweep.

Meyers was led by Maddie Lavery (2 blocks, 3 kills, 4 aces, 7 points), Tess Sauer (2 assists, 4 points, 1 block) and Maren Bakken (1 block, 2 digs, 1 kill).

North Pocono 3, Wyoming Valley West 0

The Trojans picked up a 25-19, 25-21, 25-18 sweep, helped by Alex Zero (19 assists, 3 kills, 3 digs), Nancy Dunn (6 kills) and Molly Morrell (3 kills, 6 blocks).

For the Spartans, Maribeth Bokrosh (6 kills, 3 digs), Emily Wallitsch (6 points, 2 aces, 7 kills, 8 digs) and Abby Collins (6 points, 3 aces, 3 kills, 6 blocks, 5 digs) led the way.
