Dallas Girls Basketball Clinic, for girls in grades third through ninth, Sunday, Nov. 9. Girls in grades third through fifth will meet from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., while girls grades sixth through ninth will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The clinic will be held at the Dallas High School gym. Pre-registration is recommended. The fee is $20 per person payable to Dallas High School Girls Basketball Booster Club. Wyoming Valley West Gridiron Club will meet on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the middle school. Donut fundraiser forms are due by Oct. 25.

Wyoming Valley Catholic Youth Center will be hosting a Pee Wee Basketball Clinic for ages four through seven years old. The clinic will be held on Tuesday & Thursday, and will run from 5:00 pm – 5:45 pm. Cost is $30 for each child, and t-shirts will be award to each participant. Miners Mills Little League, Thursday, at 6:30 p.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Church Hall. All coaches and parents are asked to attend.

The Kingston Recreation Center is taking registrations for its Willie Obrenrnski Youth Basketball League. Cost is $35 for members and $45 for non-members. Age groups are 5-7, 8-10, 11-13 and 14-18. For more information, call 287-1106 or stop by the center to sign up.


Mountaintop Little League is having their annual Winter Prep Day (field cleanup) on Saturday at the Alberdeen Complex starting at 9 a.m. We encourage all managers, coaches, volunteers, players and parents to come down and help us. The Plains Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony and dinner will be held on Nov. 9 at the Plains Ambulance Association Building on Maffett Street.
