Following are results from last weekend’s games in the Dallas Youth Basketball League:
Spencer Bowanko scored 11 points and Eric Pincofski added 10 as Eye Care Specialists defeated UGI/Penn National Gas, 39-36, in overtime in the opening game of the Dallas Youth Basketball 5th/6th grade boys season.
Aaron Yurko added eight points and Brian Drouse had six for Eye Care, while Jack Tomko led the defense. Matt Ross scored a game-high 18 points for UGI/Penn National Gas while Nick Muldoon added 10 and Jonathan Sabatini dumped in six.
Jake Archer scored 12 points to spark a second-half comeback and Ray Ostroski added nine as Gattuso Group Accountants & Consultants defeated Smith Insurance Group Inc., 30-21.
Tanner Gattuso added eight points and Connor Motley led the defense for Gattuso Group, while Zach Connolly led Smith Insurance with 12 points. Kyle Piscorik added seven points while Nick Malkemes and Peter Capitano played strong defense.
Matt Ross scored 17 points and Cory Metz added four as UGI/Penn National Gas rebounded with a 33-24 win over Bishop Photo.
Brendan Balara played fine defense while Anthony Brominski had several assists. Omar Nijmeh was the leading scorer for Bishop Photo while Chad Phillips led the rebounding and Daniel Mingey had several key assists.
Jake Archer scored 14 points and Tanner Gattuso added 10 as Gattuso Group edged Vito DeLuca Law Offices, 42-38.
Keith Gillette played fine defense for the Gattuso Group while Daniel Sweeney and Angelo Kwak pulled down several key rebounds. Allen Fell led DeLuca Law Offices with a game-high 26 points with support from David Simpson with 10 points. Anthony DeLuca led in assists while Connor Macarty played fine defense.
Adam Niznik and James Flores were the leading scorers as Dallas Rotary opened its season with a 41-37 overtime win over Smith Insurance Group Inc.
Joey Bevevino led the defense for Rotary while Jacob Ondish led the rebounding. Donald Michalisin scored six points for Smith Insurance Group while Chris Menning added three and Frankie Bevevino sparked the defense.
Eric Pincofski scored 11 points as Eye Care Specialists won its second close game in two nights by edging Fieldhouse Sporting Goods, 30-29. Spencer Bowanko and Brian Drouse added six each for Eye Care while Zachary Dotter led the defense.
Brenden Baloh led Fieldhouse with 13 points while Jonathan Wilson added 11. Aleksey Gitelson added three points and Nick Mathers led the defense while Nicholas James was the leading rebounder.
Gallis Insurance 51
Dr. John Klish 46
Gallis Insurance defeated Dr. John Kish, 51-46. Felix Dolman came up big, scoring 22 to lead his team to victory. Chris Behm tossed in 10. JT Carey continued to dominate the boards, tossing back nine.
Kyle Razawich and Chad Debonna played well, each scoring 14 for the doctor.
Banas Byron & Kim 45
Delucca Law 40
Jason Siminovich led Banas Byron & Kim to a 45-40 victory over Delucca Law. Siminovich scored 18 points and pulled down 15 boards. Danny Saba was hot from the outside, adding 14. Matt Saba tossed in seven.
Delucca Law was led by Eric Zawatski with 19. Marianno Medico tossed in five while Aaron Napkora controlled the boards, putting back four.
Grotto Pizza 36
Bishop photo 29
Grotto Pizza defeated the photomen from Bishop Photo, 36-29. John Murray led the winners with 16. Greg Petorek tossed in six. Blake Williams led the defense, adding six.
Bishop Photo was led by the strong play of Rudy Georgetti and Brian Stepniak, each scoring 14.

Luxury Limousine 43
Medico Industries used a balanced scoring attack to park Luxury Limousine. Ryan Zapoticky scored 15 while Buddy Shutlock controlled the middle and tossed in 10. Steve Wempa played well at point, adding 12.
Nathan Kish led the chauffers with 14. Chase Makowski added eight while Carl Gross dropped six.
