Dolores Swainbank, of Wilkes-Barre, died on Saturday, February 21, 2009, at the Davis Nursing Center in Mountain Top.
Born in Lehman, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Ann Jarensky Krasavage. She resided in West Wyoming and in Wilkes-Barre for the past 18 years.
She owned and operated Dolores Café in West Wyoming for 23 years, and the Second Hand Rose Store in Plymouth. She was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in West Pittston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son Phillip; brothers Edward, Leo and Albert; sister Bernadine Stegner.
Surviving are a son, Marlon, Luzerne; daughters Beverly Davis, West Wyoming; Denise Swainbank, West Pittston; and Charise Timko, Plains Township; brother Carl Mark Krasavage, Swoyersville; sisters Rita Mirra, West Pittston; Cindy Strelish, Dupont; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; also nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson St., Larksville, with the Rev. Donald Strope of the Christian Missionary Alliance officiating. Interment will be at Mount Greenwood. Friends may call today, from 4 to 8 p.m.
