DUPONT: Dupont Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4909 will meet at 7:30 p.m. April 6 at the post home. Nominations for the offices of quartermaster and chaplain will be accepted. The Memorial Day Parade and May Poppy Drive will be discussed.

The home association meeting will follow. Food and refreshments will follow both sessions.

KINGSTON: The Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 395 will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Post home. All members are urged to attend.

PLAINS TWP.: Members of the Society of American Magicians local Assembly 160 will perform at 2 p.m. April 5 for veterans in Liberty Hall at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

The event is part of a national program designed to entertain patients at VA hospitals throughout the country.

TUNKHANNOCK: A representative from the Governor’s Veterans Outreach and Assistance Center will be available from 1-3 p.m. today at the office of state Rep. Karen Boback, 6 Cross Country Complex, to help veterans and their family members with benefits and services.
