King’s College falls in women’s volleyball

The King’s College women’s volleyball team dropped a tough 3-0 decision to FDU-Florham on Thursday.

The Monarchs fell by scores of 25-20, 25-23, 25-22 as Kat Clerici led the way with 15 kills and five blocks.

Danielle Belfanti followed with 19 digs and 10 service points, while Kelly Greenway distributed 29 assists.

Scranton 3, Wilkes 0

Emily DeBuck and Marissa Harrison had 20 of the team’s 32 kills, but the Lady Colonels committed 25 errors in 119 attacks that led to Scranton’s win.

The Lady Colonels battled in each game, dropping the first set 25-23 and the second 26-24 before the Royals won the match with a 25-20 win in the third game.
