Frederick A. Pettit has been named a shareholder in the law firm’s Philadelphia office. Pettit, a graduate of King’s College and a member of the school’s President’s Council, concentrates his practice in the areas of insurance recovery, anti-counterfeiting and brand protection, employment litigation and business litigation. Before joining the firm, he served for three years as an assistant district attorney in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. He holds a J.D. from Temple University, James E. Beasley School of Law, and a B.A., magna cum laude, from King’s College.
Linda Paterson, of Clarks Summit, Sandi Howe, of Dickson City, Debbie Zimnoch, of Hunlock Creek, and Nicole Klaproth, of West Pittston, have recently become independent consultants with the national direct-sales company which features easy-to-prepare gourmet products. As consultants, they will offer the company’s foods and beverages to guests at home-tasting parties.
The Wilkes-Barre based workers’ compensation insurance carrier recently added two new staff members.
John C. Burns, of Shavertown, has been hired as director of MIS. He will be responsible for the management, support and strategic planning of the company’s computer and information systems including design programming, installation of software and hardware, networking and internet maintenance.
Burns has over 20 years of technology and management experience, specializing in insurance, investment management and other financial products. He holds a bachelor’s degree from King’s College and an MBA from The University of Scranton.
Edward S. Kudey, of Forty Fort, joined the group as senior programmer. He will be responsible for analyzing and modifying existing systems and programs and providing a wide range of technical support for all company associates and system users.
Kudey has over 20 years experience as a programmer, database administrator and systems analyst specialist. He holds a bachelor’s degree from King’s College.
