Kara Danielle Kozich and Ronald Scott Shute II were united in marriage May 3, 2008, at the United Church of Christ, Bethlehem, by the Rev. Jeffrey Bauer.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Joan Kozich of Forty Fort. She is the granddaughter of the late John and Helen Latsko and the late George and Rose Kozich.
The groom is the son of Barbara Heinze and Ronald Shute Sr. of New Jersey. He is the grandson of Betty and Ralph Ballinger and the late John and Mary Higgins.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose Amy DeSantis as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Dr. Caryn Giacona, Laura Georgian and Emily Parker, friends of the bride.
The groom chose his friend, Mark Giacona Jr., as best man. Groomsmen were Timothy DeSantis, Steve Mastipolito, Shawn Gallagher and Brian Shute.
A scriptural reading was given by Janelle Selecky Smith, long-time friend of the bride.
An evening cocktail hour and reception were held at the Candlelight Reception Center, Bethlehem.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School. She graduated, magna cum laude, from Syracuse University in 2003, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in information management technology with a minor in retailing. She is a buyer for Burlington Coat Factory in Burlington, N.J.
The groom is a 1996 graduate of Haddon Heights High School, New Jersey. He graduated from Rutgers University in 2001, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering. He is an engineer at PSE&G and is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration.
The couple honeymooned in Aruba. They are planning to reside in Bordentown, N.J.
