Sem students raise money for Candy’s Place

Wyoming Seminary Upper School students, led by athletic trainer and science teacher Lisa Mozeleski and sophomore boarding student Cicely Hazell of Georgetown, Texas, raised more than $600 for Candy’s Place. Over a three-week period, students, faculty and staff purchased pink ‘Strive for a Cure’ bracelets and American Cancer Society lapel pins, which were sold at football games, in the dorms and at the school’s ‘Blue Bean’ coffee stand. Candy’s Place, a cancer resource center in Forty Fort, provides social, emotional and therapeutic services to cancer patients, survivors and their loved ones.
