Hanover baseball team will be conducting a youth baseball camp today from 9 a.m. to noon at the middle school. Registration is at 8:45 a.m. Any boys in grades three through six are welcome to attend. The camp will cost $25 and will be run by the Hanover Area coaching staff and players. Any questions, call Mike at 262-8291.

MEETINGS

Back Mountain Baseball/Softball Organization will meet April 6 at the Daddow-Isaacs American Legion on Memorial Highway in Dallas. Board meeting will be at 7 p.m., followed by the general meeting at 8 p.m. For information, call Jack at 675-0939.

Duryea Little League will hold its monthly meeting on April 5 at 7 p.m. at the Duryea VFW.

Newport Township Little League will meet on Sunday at the field house in Wanamie. Board will meet at 5 p.m., followed by general meeting at 5:15 p.m.

Jenkins Twp. Little League parents auxiliary will hold an organizational meeting on Monday at 6 p.m. at the field house meeting room. Anyone interested in being a team mother or member of the auxiliary should attend or call Denise for information at 655-4850.

REGISTRATIONS/TRYOUTS

Back Mountain Youth Soccer Association will hold registration on April 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Dallas Middle School cafeteria. Age groups U6 through U18 will be accepted. Eligible players must be at least 5 before Aug. 1. New players must show proof of age. All players must register online available now at www.bmysa.org, print and bring the certificate of intent to register with payment to registration.

Luzerne County Recreation is seeking one men’s softball team for Wednesday night. For information, call 331-7046.

Wilkes-Barre Cosmos Soccer will be holding registrations on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at Stanton Bowling Lanes, Stanton Street, Wilkes-Barre. For questions or additional information, call Kim at 332-5266.

Wilkes-Barre Girls Softball League will hold final registration for its T-ball through major divisions today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rodano’s, 39 Public Square. Girls that are born between Jan. 1, 1992 and June 30, 2004 are eligible. Birth certificate is required for new players. City residency is not required. For information, call 822-3991.

Wyoming Valley Youth Soccer League asks any U11G player that played for the Luzerne County Soccer Club U11G team and would like to play in the 2009 spring league to contact Tom at 762-5542 after 5 p.m.

Blue Chips Ladies Golf League at Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club in Mountain Top will begin its Tuesday morning 18-hole golf league on April 28 with an opening-day luncheon and golf.
