Meghan Wherley and Erik Hall, together with their parents, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Margaret Wherley, Chesterfield, Mo., and the late Richard Wherley.
The prospective groom is the son of the Rev. Timothy and Barbara Hall, Nanticoke.
Meghan is a 2002 graduate of School of the Osage High School and a 2006 graduate of Saint Louis University, St. Louis, Mo., with a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice with a minor in sociology and forensic science. She is also a 2008 graduate of the University of New Haven, New Haven, Conn., with a Master of Science degree in forensic science. She is employed as a death investigator for the City of St. Louis.
Erik is a 2002 graduate of Greater Nanticoke Area High School and a 2006 graduate of Messiah College, Grantham, with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry with a minor in criminal justice. He is also a 2008 graduate of the University of New Haven, with a Master of Science degree in forensic science. He is employed as a forensic biologist/ DNA analyst for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
The couple will be married Jan. 30, 2010, in Negril, Jamaica.
