Terry Ziedonis, 64, a homemaker, wonderful wife and mother, of Mountain Top, formerly of Lancaster, Pa., died unexpectedly on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009, at her home.
She was the wife of Alvis V. Ziedonis, with whom she was married 34 years last June 28.
Born Mary Theresa Heroux on May 19, 1945, in New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late John B. and Elizabeth (Fitzgibbons) Heroux.
She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, Mountain Top, and a former member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Lancaster.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Adam V. Ziedonis, husband of Kimberly A., of Havertown, Pa.; Travis J. Ziedonis, at home; five siblings, John Heroux, widower of Elizabeth Selitto, Bedford, N.H.; Jeanne, wife of Henry Daecher, of Kutztown, Pa.; James Ray Heroux, husband of Joey Miller, of McVeytown, Pa.; Barbara, wife of William Neely, of San Francisco, Calif.; and Gregory Heroux, husband of Joanne Yost, of Suwanee, Ga., as well as a large extended family.
A Christian Prayer Service will be held at the Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Home, 320 Blue Rock Rd., Route 999, Millersville, Pa., on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Norman C. Hohenwarter officiating. Interment will be in the Millersville Mennonite Cemetery, Millersville, Pa. Friends may view at St. Jude Catholic Church, 420 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top, Pa., on Friday evening, between 6 and 8 p.m., and also at Scheid’s in Millersville on Saturday, between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
