Zjama, who requested to go by his first name, adjusts the menorah on Public Square for the upcoming Hanukkah celebration in Wilkes-Barre. The Chabad Jewish community decided to put up the menorah, which represents the spreading of light, goodness and kindness throughout the world, after a New York rabbi and his wife were killed in last week’s attacks in India. The first day of Hanukkah is Dec. 21.
