Robert Pyle

KINGSTON – Kingston police are investigating the disappearance of Robert Pyle.

The 36-year-old man was last seen at about 2 a.m. Saturday at Curry Donuts on Wyoming Avenue in Kingston.

Pyle is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, 130 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo of an old man on his right forearm. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and an unknown kind of shirt.

Anyone with information on Pyle’s whereabouts should call Kingston police at 287-6911.

BUTLER TWP. – Township police reported the following:

A Bobcat landscape rake was recently discovered missing from Highway Equipment and Supply Co. on Honeyhole Road. The rake, valued at more than $6,000, is described as being approximately 6 feet wide and weighs about 1,200 pounds.

Police are investigating a prowling incident that occurred around 11 p.m. Tuesday at the home of a 90-year-old woman who resides in the 700 block of St. Johns Road.

A 21-year-old Wilmington, Del., woman was cited after a disturbance at Keystone Job Corps last Monday. Police said Delonta Gilree allegedly became combative at one of the buildings on campus. Sugarloaf and state police assisted.

Police on Thursday cited Adam Martin, 19, of Drums, with harassment after he allegedly threw a mixer at his mother at a home on Snow Valley Drive.

HAZLE TWP. – State police at Hazleton reported the following:

• Jason Naspinsky, 27, of Mahanoy Plane, was arrested on evidence of drunken driving after a traffic stop on state Route 924, about 1 mile north of Interstate 81 at 2:38 a.m. Sunday, state police in Hazleton said.

• Charges will be filed against an 18-year-old man after he allegedly was found in possession of a small amount of marijuana and prescription pills that he did not have a prescription for at Boscov’s on Saturday, police said.

WILKES-BARRE – City police cited a man for allegedly causing a crash at the intersection of South Pennsylvania Avenue at East Market Street around 10 a.m. Saturday.

Vjolca Deljanin, of Sugarloaf, driver of a 2003 BMW, was westbound on East Market Street and through the intersection with a green traffic signal when a 1998 Mazda, operated by Douglas Ziemann Moore, of Doylestown, failed to stop at a red light, police said.

Moore was southbound on Pennsylvania Avenue when the crash occurred, according to police. His Mazda had to be towed by L.A.G., police said. No injuries were reported.

A citation will be filed against Moore for causing the crash and failing to stop, police said.

WILKES-BARRE – City police reported the following:

Police cited a 16-year-old city boy for harassment on allegations he threatened a 16-year-old female at 265 Park Ave. on Friday night.

Matthew Kondraski, 19, of Wilkes-Barre, will be cited with illegally selling tobacco after police alleged he purchased cigarettes and furnished them to a 14-year-old on North Pennsylvania Avenue and East North Street at 5:35 p.m. Friday.

Leo J. Connors of Nanticoke was arrested on evidence of driving under the influence at Parking Lot Central, 52 S. Main St., around 2:15 a.m. Saturday.

Erica Marie West of Forty Fort was arrested on evidence of driving under the influence of alcohol after police say she was involved in a vehicle accident in the area of 25 Gore St. at 2:35 a.m. Saturday.

Sydney O’Donnell reported on Saturday that someone smashed the window of her 1994 Chevy while it was parked at 110 Barney St., police said.

A Pittston man was cited for public drunkenness at 385 Scott St. at 4:30 a.m. Saturday.

Foday Sillah reported Thursday that someone opened various accounts in his name at 86 Amherst Ave., police said. The incident is under investigation.

A 17-year-old boy from Wilkes-Barre reported around 5:10 p.m. Saturday that someone known to him threatened him at 221 Mclean St., police said. The victim did not want to pursue criminal charges.

Someone scratched the side of a vehicle on Rose Lane and South Grant Street on Friday.

Police said a 19-year-old man from North Meade Street will be cited with harassment for allegedly cursing and threatening Nathaniel Seabrook at 156 Coal St. around 7 p.m. Friday.
