Ann Marie Szydlowski, 65, of Ashley Street, Ashley, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2011, surrounded by her family at the home of her daughter in Long Island, N.Y.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on August 26, 1945. She was a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Wajtman Lovenduski.
Ann Marie enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, but her favorite pastime was spending time with her family, most especially loving her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Cassie Drozda; a nephew, Scott Boegle.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Ted Szydlowski, at home; daughters, Cathy Munster and husband Ron, Long Island, N.Y.; Kim Szydlowski, Ashley; and Tracey View and husband Leo, Hanover Township; six grandchildren, Jeff, Kristie, Michael, Eric, Lauren and Rachel; sister, Gloria Hulak, and husband Walter, Long Island, N.Y.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday from the George A. Strish Inc. Funeral Home, 105 N. Main St., Ashley. A Mass of Christian Burial is at 12:30 p.m. in St. Leo’s/Holy Rosary Church, Ashley. Interment is in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township. Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and on Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon.
