Library can be a stop on holiday shopping

While planning your holiday shopping lists, don’t forget to stop by the Back Mountain Memorial Library.

Located in the front foyer of the library is the popular Holiday Shoppe.

There, you will find an assortment of holiday gift ideas including collectibles, kitchenware suitable for entertaining and also handmade silk wreaths and floral arrangements. All of these items have been donated or made by a volunteer and all proceeds go directly to the library.

So help yourself by crossing one more name off your list and help the library at the same time!

Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the library’s annual Holiday Open House on Tuesday, Dec. 20 and Wednesday, Dec. 21.

Stop by the library on those days and enjoy light refreshments and soft instrumental holiday music. And don’t forget to check out a book, DVD or audiobook on CD.

A porcelain doll raffle drawing will also be held on December 21 during the Open House. Chances are $1 each. Inquire at the desk for more information.

The library will be closed on Saturday, Dec. 24 and Monday, Dec. 26 to celebrate Christmas and will also be closed on Saturday, Dec. 31and Monday, Jan. 2, 2012 to celebrate New Year’s Day.
