With the wins Pittston Area leads the standings 8-5

So far on the winter schedule PA has won two ice hockey games and one girls basketball game, while Wyoming Area won a girls basketball game in the consolation game of the Badger Marseco Tip-Off Tournament at Old Forge.

There are five more winter events: two swimming meets, one more ice hockey game and one each boys and girls regular WVC season basketball games. The first swim meet is Friday at Pittston Area. The schools are not scheduled to meet in wrestling.
